Galaxy Macau: Hotels in Macau (Part I)

September 19th, 2014

Fresh from exploring all around the Old Macau, our “I  Cotai” Girls Nat and Carol finally ventured into the infamous Cotai Strip.

Located between the Taipa and Coloane Islands, the Cotai Strip is known for its world-class casinos, luxury resorts and 5 star hotels. With its ultra-sleek, highly modern atmosphere, the Cotai Strip stands in stark contrast to all the old-world charm of traditional Macau. Since its inception, it has become widely known as the “Vegas of Asia”, the Cotai Strip continues to flourish today as the number one destination in the world for gambling, luxury and top-notch entertainment.

Experiencing Traditional Macau!

September 5th, 2014

After enjoying some time under the sun at The Ruins of St. Paul’s Cathedral and snacking on Macanese treats from Da San Ba Street, our “I ♥ Cotai” Girls Nat and Carol went exploring through the charming streets and alleyways of Old Macau.

At the centre of Old Macau is the iconic Senado Square, which has stood for centuries and remains the go-to venue for all kinds of events and cultural celebrations today.

Our girls were spoilt for choice with all the places to explore around the area!

The Ruins of St. Paul's Cathedral

August 18th, 2014

Our gorgeous “I ❤ Cotai” girls Nat and Carol (see their profiles here) kicked off their Macau day-trip adventure by visiting the Ruins of St. Paul’s Cathedral on a wonderfully bright morning.

Only the façade remains now, but it is still considered to be sacred and beautiful in its historical value. In 2005, it was listed as part of the Historic Centre of Macau, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

As August means summertime in Macau, the weather was spectacular... [Read More ->]
